An easy-drinking, pretty fine Champagne, although I would have expected more fruit on the nose. Salmon-pink, with an orange tinge. Fine, persistent bead. Moderately intense nose of apricot and some yeasty notes. Quite soft and rounded on the palate, suggesting a dosage higher than the NV white. Medium-bodied. Quite fresh and approachable. Enjoyable drinking both on 26^th, and a second bottle on the 27^th.
