Finally met Jonathan Saxby on this visit to the winery, and saw that they’d updated their label design across the range. 85% Pinot Meunier base NV, and a good quaffing Champagne. Though not as elegant as Taittinger, or some of the Moutardier vintages, and with more body & structure, nevertheless a good everyday Champagne (and great value at €13.50!). Mid yellow-gold with some orange glints. Moderate mousse and a medium-fine, persistent bead.
