The hit of Christmas – a lovely elegant yet deep, minerally yet with some fruit, savoury yet creamy. Very satisfying. I think the cool, chalkiness is perhaps a mark of Corton? Pale gold. Just ripe citrus fruit, with a fennel-like or celery herb note. Fresh cream from lees, and a subtle oak hint in the background. Medium-bodied cream & lemon, with a chalky mineral undertow, and firm acidity. Long. Savoury.
