Tried the 2011 release in the shop, which surprisingly was better – more complex – in retrospect. Notably deep gold – almost oxidised in hue, with bronze tints. Briny almond nut aromas, with some toasty oak notes. On the palate, it gives more, with a super-salty almond and anchovy flavours, with spicy notes and a touch of beeswax. Only medium+ length. Not bad, but not cheap at £10 for 50cl.
