Bought for Andy’s 40th in April. Starting to fade, but once great. Still nice though. Pale garnet with a broad, brick / caramel rim. Perfumed pain d’epice, beeswax, gentle toasty oak, and residual dried red fruit. On the palate, smooth, with almost no tannin. Medium+ acidity, some residual cherry fruit, and more waxy, spicy notes. Medium-long. Andy, obviously, kept the bottle and label!
