A good example of Alsatian dry Riesling, and a great demonstration of the quality of the vintage. Good, will get better, and great value. Pale gold. Medium+ intensity, lime-led nose, with barely-ripe stone fruit notes, creamy touches, hints of fresh toast, acacia honey and sweet apple. Medium bodied, with a clean, crisp, well-delineated palate. Fresh cream, lime, lemon and slightly chalky minerality coming through the fully-dry, long finish. Give it 5 years to soften, perhaps?
