The wine of the Pinot flight, with a suppleness, elegance and delicacy that stroked and danced across the palate. Showed its pricey class. Pale ruby, with a hint of purple. Ripe, fresh strawberry fruit emerges over time, beneath really creamy new oak tones, some mocha touches and cinnamon – high quality oak used here, no doubt. Herbal mint note. On the palate, youthful cranberry and redcurrant fruit. Light-medium body. Firm, but becoming silky, ripe tannins. Fruit almost sweet. Elegance. Smoky minerality. No palate herbal or green notes. Long, perfumed persistence.
