Little room to describe this! Good, very easy to drink, but not a 95+ point wine! Deep garnet. Narrow rim. Medium+ lightly vanilla and jam-laced blueberry fruit. Liquorice. Touches of Herbes de Provence and sweet spice. Rich, full, sweet-flavoured (but dry). Slightly jammy black cherry and more liquorice with some pepper spice. Medium to long. That Kev loved this proved her Damascene conversion to red wine! [Later note: Even better in Riedel Syrah Vinum glass…!]
