Opened just because, and I’d say this is in early-mid maturity. Another 3-5 years for my 2nd bottle, perhaps. Classic Puligny, I think, and probably classic Perrières, given the wine overleaf’s [link] similarity, opened 3 days later. Mid gold. Bright aromas of fresh cream, ripe pear and melon, touch of fennel-like herb, some background vanilla toast oak touches, and a chalky flinty note. Only a hint of nuttiness. Firm palate acidity indicates the vintage. Yellow fruit and oatmealy oak touches, with marked chalky flintiness. Medium body. Long. Almost great.
