[Tim, wishing you all the best for your MW future. Has been a real pleasure talking with you. John Hancock. 30/9/14. Planet of the Grapes.]

Great wines and a good chat with John Hancock at – as he writes below – POTG. And this entertaining little number almost wrapped-up proceedings. Late harvested, so a mix of raisined and botrytised fruit, that stops fermenting naturally. Deep gold. Crystal peach aromatics, with bread, spice, vanilla and some good fungal notes. Full-ish body, sweet, but not unctuous (130 g/L?), with pure passionfruit, mango and crystal ginger.
