First En Rama bottling I’ve come across of a Manzanilla – definitely adds greater body, colour and complexity – though still has a distinct palate salinity. This is in a definite nutty style, rather than olive brine or fruity. Deep gold. Subtle, complex nose of almond and cashew nuts, with hints of wood, vanilla touches, and dried citrus. Almost ‘roasted’ salt. Citrus palate, with a long toasty-nutty aftertaste. Subtle salty undertow. Medium bodied.
