I think scraping the label off with a knife loses some of its impact. Anyway, a very high quality dry Riesling from Knoll. Ripe, but not overly so, carrying some yellow fruit character aromatically. Not as vehemently bone dry as Trimbach – probably 5-6 g/L RS? Complex, minerally and very satisfying. By chance, managed to pick up a 2nd bottle just days after drinking this one-off!
