Another different white from the Optimor case. I was particularly pleased because I guessed this as being barrel fermented, before looking at the label (wraps around the entire centre of the bottle…). On day 1, aromas and flavours didn’t quite integrate, but on later days this became a really nice glass – decant in future? Pale green-straw colour. Moderate intensity toasty, buttered-toast lead (barrel fermented?) over limey, tangerine fruit (with some odd, butter-bean hints). Developed into aromas like Mum’s lemon cream & digestive biscuit dessert – lovely. Creamy, lemon & lime citrus-sweet palate, with high-enough acidity to carry the wine. Very nice after 1 day.
