From the Optimor case. Malte had really liked this, so I was initially disappointed. But over 2 days it just got better. Dominant toasty notes dissipated to allow the fruit character to emerge. Pale yellow-gold with a watery rim. Moderate intensity nose of toast and gooseberry, that opened into green apple underpinning melon, tangerine and peach fruit. Fairly crisp palate with clean yellow melon, apple and cream flavours. Pretty good eventually. Apparently this was the first producer to bottle under the Rías Baixas D.O.
