Proof that Carlsberg are real brewers! It’s such a pity that almost none of their specialist or micro-brews escape Denmark. Picked this up at Copenhagen Airport. A lovely lager – reminiscent of Sam Adams’ Boston Lager. Deep copper colour. Plenty of citrus freshness on the nose and palate around a pretty full-bodied beer. Still has the freshness of a lager. And it wasn’t until writing this up that I realised how strong it is!
