Continuing the New Year resolution, the lads at Planet of the Grapes suggested this as something interesting. Overall, this is definitely well-made… BUT, the Zind Humbrecht Heimbourg just had soooo much more life! Pale lemon-gold, with a broad, watery rim. Lime zest and fresh-cut limes with a hint of cream and ?chalk? Also white flower notes with hints of tropical fruit complexity (pineapple I think… maybe tangerine too?). Good ‘zingy’ acidity. Dry limey palate, with fair ‘stoney’ length. Pretty good, but not earth-shattering.
