Bought this when visiting the Chateau, near Dijon. Since buying, the bottle has been moved, shipped, and generally used and abused, so I was unsure how this would turn out. Actually did pretty well, though not mindblowing. Mid-intensity garnet colour with medium-width brick rim. Quite intense bouquet that still had cherry and blackcurrant fruit at the core. Overlays of chocolate and some truffly mushroom notes. Well balance palate of acid, tannin and medium body, to present a very easy-drinking Pinot Noir, that fulfilled the desired role of accompanying roast rack of lamb. A good wine.
