This stuff is so damn good that I had to buy another. Makes excellent ice cream, and wonderful with peanut M&Ms… The ageing makes this thick, dark, burnt golden-brown. Aromas of coffee, walnut and a degree of vanilla from the oak. Intensely sweet-caramel flavour with much complexity of nuttiness and coffee. At the finish slight sharpness. PX can be very, very nice, and probably not well-enough known!
