Another JWS bargain! A first class Tokaji as my first, and pretty good too. Copper colour (but deeper than the label print). Aromas of stewed plums or other fruit and maybe marmalade, more than toffee notes. Deep and quite complex. Sweet intensity well balanced with a good fruitiness that made a harmonious overall flavour. Stood up admirably to a weighty chocolate mousse-torte – both in flavour and sweetness match.
