In spite of its 10 year age, still had a strong enough fruit core and sufficient tannin to age further (and possibly improve, but less likely). Deep garnet core with wide brick / brown rim. Dark, maybe dried fruit aromas, with some cocoa or chocolatey notes that suggested a good red wine-chocolate match. Similar flavour profile with gentle tannic bite. Good length. Nice overall, and an interesting example of ageworthy Corbieres (good thing French Autoroutes [later addition: have Maisons de la Region that stock local wines)]
