Found in 28-50, and… well… what the hell! Always a gamble, but this 41 year old bottle, though fully mature, had not hollowed out, and held flavour density on the mid-palate. Medium-depth mahogany. Initially a marmite nose of oxidation, but this blew off over an hour, to leave a complex, leather, spice, vanilla and dried cherry. Medium weight, with firm, but balanced acidity, and light tannins. Good.
