This vintage was an exam wine, and rightly so. The wine of the sweet line-up. Stunning complexity, power and density. Fully sweet, but enough refreshing acidity to hold the staggering 292 g/l RS in check. Deep tawny. Pronounced, oxidative coffee, walnut, crème caramel, dried raisin and dried fruit. Nutty complexity. Massively concentrated old leather, dried fruit, coffee, chocolate, oak spice and walnuts. Luscious, long, nutty finish.
