Ripeness of fruit is definitively New World. However, the restraint and balanced use of oak shows the class of Margaret River Chardonnay. Pale gold. Some sweet apple crumble, leesy cream, and waxy toasty oak, but restrained. Ripe sour lemon palate, with zippy acidity (cool nights?). Little minerality. Some passionfruit ripeness over the lemon sourness. Good quality oak, carefully used.
