A first Mondeuse, to the best of my recollection. From the shop in Cluses. Deep ruby / purple. Dark berry fruit notes: mulberry and blackberry. Touch of liquorice. Smoky granite minerality. Gentle oak spice (1/3 new?). Quite complex nose. Bright acidity – quite sour cherry flavours, different from the nose. Somewhat firm, chalky tannins. Not bad.
