Slightly less rare at 5Ha still planted, this was my first Terrantez, and a lovely example. Medium amber with a medium-width, golden rim. Walnut marzipan with chocolate, and a fudgy cinnamon nose. Rich. Medium-full bodied. Medium sweet, with powerful acidity that makes it finish dry. Slightly warming alcohol through the finish, but pretty well-balanced. Caramel, some coffee-cream touches, then preserved lemon punches through the mid-palate. Dark-chocolate tinged finish.
