We had this with lamb shanks, cooked overnight – the main course. A pretty good re-visit to my first Kiwi Pinot Noir – albeit a bit lightweight. Cherry red colour. Cranberry fruit, with a hint of toasty oak, and a herbal note on the nose. On the palate, more herby touches to the ‘crunchy’ red fruit. Quite a fruit-sweet palate, and fairly long. A touch alcoholic.
