Mid-green / gold with a medium watery rim. Quite intense nose led by toasty hazelnut notes, wrapped in vanilla creaminess. Some notable malolactic sweetcorn aromas too. Medium acidity on the palate with some green apple character (not full malolactic fermentation?), but coming through into a buttered toast finish. A small hint of ‘apple stalk’ bitterness on the finish which detracts somewhat. Overall pretty nice, although I’m not sure of Fuissé typicity. Probably better VFM wines out there, I’d say.
