A tannic BEAST. Even after 1 ½ bottles of other wine, this was clearly and remarkably still gum puckeringly dry. I don’t know if further ageing would have helped… probably. And “black wine”… they were NOT taking the piss! Inky red-black colour, with stewed heavy dark fruit aromas, but above all the TANNIC power…phew! Overall “interesting” rather than good…
