A fresh and clean Chablis 1er Cru as typical for the Montmains appellation. Not oaked and it shows. Flinty acidity but balanced with a reasonable body of fruit. Lightly buttery and creamy aroma. Pale straw colour. Designed to match up to a crème fraiche and blue cheese sauce, and it matched up pretty well. The freshness cut through the sauce, but the butteriness matched up. Nice wine and a pretty good food match.
