Trying to complete the Valduero set! Not as good VFM here, but good drinking over several days. On opening, banana on nose, giving quickly to toast, then subtle black fruit underneath. On warming, toasted pecans and black cherry definition, then later grilled meat and (yes!) chilli beef aromas. Became blackcurrant / cherry jam after a couple of days. Dry / tarry flavours but with fresh / robust acidity that softened on warming and added body. Short to medium length. Not much tannin. Deep garnet colour with brown / brick edging.
