Cave de Tain l’Hermitage is the local cave co-operative and is supposed to be very reliable.
[My mate Rob’s note] Initially sharp on the tongue, with a deep plum, almost prune aftertaste. Sharpness died off with oxygen & familiarity to uncover a extremely drinkable, heavy wine with a creamy aftertaste.
Would stand up to most meats, would like to try this with duck.
