Having drunk the 2001 in class, and experienced lime & stones – very austere – I was a touch nervous opening this for Peter & Katy. I needn’t have worried, as it had the right balance of crisp acidity, lemon & lime, with minerality & some toasty notes. Good. Slightly bittersweet in the sense that we split up a week later.
