Good to understand the Nahe, side-by-side with the Mosel, without a corked wine! That’ll be the screwcap then… The key differences from a Mosel Kabinett: 1-1.5% higher ABV, slightly less sweet, and a more powerful, assertive, stone fruit palate. Sweet pear and peach fruit aromatically, then some lees and flinty mineral. Powerful lemon / lime fruit entry, with a stone fruit mid-palate. Grapefruit pith finish, with earthy slate minerality. Firm and bright acidity. Off-dry. Some mid-palate spritz.
