A decent Condrieu, though perhaps not as high up the scale as Villard’s 2010s, that stood on the knife-edge between fullness and crispness; ripe fruit and minerality. Herbal aromatic note – almost medicinal – over just-ripe apricot. Toast and honey complexity. Slightly savoury granite mineral undertow to just-ripe apricot flavour. Full-bodied. Toasty, slightly soupy finish. Just needs more acidity for precision.
