Having been disappointed by Le Mont Sec, this really showed what the Huet fuss was about. Pale to mid gold. Vanilla scent, and possibly jasmine aromatics. Slightly oxidative, broad, yellow peach, toasty oak hints, and potentially some butter notes. On the palate, a crisp acidic undertow, but not brutal. Rounded. Medium-full bodied. Slightly bruised apple, a touch of vanilla and slatey minerality.
