502. Booker, My Favorite Neighbor Paso Robles, 2006

Tracey & Dante were over and I just managed to catch up with them. They brought me this from Paso Robles (equal parts Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot), then we went to Hix Restaurant in Smithfield, who kindly allowed us to drink it with corkage (and accompany my first ever snails dish – with rabbit – lovely!). Unsurprisingly quite dense, with plenty of juicy fruit and richness – not a total blockbuster, but pretty weighty. Not bad – fun!
