Again, drank over Christmas, so written too long after drinking. Good fit with roast venison. Matured. Garnet-to-brick colouring Well knitted fruit and secondary aromas, and a balanced, structured palate. Good. Will verify with 2nd bottle!
[Later note: had 2nd bottle 2 years on: beautifully integrated. Focussed blackcurrant fruit flavours, with subtle toasty oak notes and good complexity. Very easy drinking].
