Had only ever drunk Canadian ice wine prior to this, and Canada doesn’t have much reputation outside ice wine. However this pale straw wine made for very easy and pleasant drinking, I thought. Floral notes coupled with citrus aromas and a refreshing balance of citrus acidity with the demi-sec sweetness. Went quite well with a white bean sauce and poached white fish.
