Picked this up at Tesco, randomly, and cracked it when we needed another glass, post-curry. A pretty decent Riesling, but not staggeringly complex or concentrated – a 2007 Schloß Vollrads we had in Argentière was more profound. Nevertheless, refreshing, and with and off-dry character to round it out. Gentle lime and (bizarrely) freshly sliced cucumber aromatics. Slightly chalky, citrus and grapefruit pith flavours. A little short, but not too bad.
