A decent, good value quaffer from Majestic. Mid-depth garnet with a narrow ruby-garnet rim. Moderately intense nose of sweet, toasty spices over leafy blackcurrant fruit, with a subtle herbaceous note. Tannin in the background but juicy acidity and juicy sweet fruit. A little short, but easy drinking.
