Another “different” white – again from Majestic – that has an interesting blend of freshness and flavour complexity. Made from the Cortese grape, although it has the flavour development of a late harvest wine, it is fermented to dryness. Citrussy and (I think) pear aromas, with a definite lick of passion-fruit and vanilla as this wine warms. Healthy fresh acidity but with a degree of “body” that means it’s not bone dry. Pale straw colour. Refreshing & interesting!
