A wine to drink on its own, since it has that Cali sweet flavour profile, rather than savoury. But above all, the altitude shines through with a notable, balancing, refreshing acidity. Tannins ripe but still there. Classic flavour profile: blackcurrant, oak spice & vanilla hints, with some cedary / sage overtones. Deep ruby, with the first signs of garnet colour maturity. Nice.
