Good value for Hermitage, from a fairly decent vintage. We also had this at the barbeque, and it was pretty nice – certainly into its drinking window, with smooth tannins. However, I will reserve judgement for the rest of the case that I have, because a pretty medicinal note stood out on the nose, alongside meaty and blueberry notes. Overall, has potential. We’ll see!
