A simple and clean oaked chardonnay. Creamy but crisp finish. An unexpected surprise, and very nice. Part of a mixed case from Bordeaux Direct as was. Nice. Not overdone.

Had a second bottle and wrote-up straightaway… actually quite complex and full-bodied. Definitely creamy & crisp though. Straw yellow, or close to. Toasty oaked aromas, but fruity undertones – slightly citrussy / orange – canteloupe melon maybe? Fruity, creamy flavour (passion fruit??), with crisp dry finish. Still nice!
