This is supposed to be the best producer in Châteauneuf (although it is actually bloody miles away from the town centre and difficult to get to…).

Wine was very smooth, not tough like bad Châteauneuf. Spiciness, a hint of vanilla, but mainly blackcurrant on the nose. Rich and deep fruity taste. Served with redcurrant, red cherry and Port sauce with duck and survived. Nice.
