[Cheers! signature: Nigel Greening]

Signed by Nigel Greening at the ‘Two Nigels’ Pinot Noir-off (the other being Nigel, AKA Sam Neill of Two Paddocks), at POTG. A very fine NZ Pinot. Medium-deep ruby. Smoky, ‘schistous’ nose. Hint of bacon, and dried herb – like rosemary. Sweet / savoury palate entry, with slightly black pepper fruit. Supple, moderate tannins, refreshing acidity and decent length. Bramble fruit, with savoury mineral overtones, bright acid and supple tannins – lovely.
