Good quality, dense, complex and balanced Recioto. And a good reminder that these are only  mid-strength, at 13% ABV. Mid-deep garnet, with a broad rim. Chipotle dried chilli, barbeque sauce, and cherry compote aromatic melange – definite dried-ness. Ripe, rich, sweet red cherry fruit. Fully sweet. Mid-palate spice and chilli notes, then a smoky ‘espresso sugar’ notes at the finish. Juicy, balancing acidity, and gentle tannins. Long and complex.
