Which was the front-label and which the back? Who knows… but stylish packaging for a stylish wine. Moderate moose and sparkle, given its pétillant AOC classification. But classic, sparkling dry Chenin. Pale to medium gold Toast and caramel, with gravelly minerality, over sweet apple fruit. Some lees cream. On the palate, caramel, vanilla, sweet apple fruit, and savoury, spicy, smoky / earthy minerality. Underpinned by very firm, brisk appley acidity. Balanced, and very enjoyable!
