A slightly ‘hard’ streak of acidity takes this a little out-of-balance, which is a shame, for an otherwise pretty good wine. Pale gold. Medium intensity nose with a caramelly, buttery opening. Creamy yellow peach, with something lifted (mint?), and a touch of toast. Medium+ bodied, with crisp acidity that doesn’t quite ‘fit’ the rich aroma. Citrussy-lemon and a touch of orange. Clean. Medium+, slightly smoky finish.
