Dad and I dropped in here after Ventoux (it’s very close) and tasted the range at the cave co-operative, which is a class operation. This was the pick of the dry wines, being from a specific domaine within the coop. I bought 3, and decided to serve 2 bottles at the Cousins’ Shindig. All 3 went. Rapidly. A great example of the dry red Rasteau, which clearly shows why this has its own CdRV-Rasteau AOC. Dark, rich fruit, with just enough backbone of tannin for it to have a savoury edge and last for a couple of years (in theory!). Dad has a few bottles, so I’ll have to reevaluate at a later point.
